Kennesaw, Ga. (April 10, 2019) – Today, Golf Digest released its fourth annual Editor’s Choice Awards, and for the third year in a row, named Yamaha’s Drive2 QuieTech® EFI car the Best Gas-powered Golf Car.
The Golf Digest Editor’s Choice Awards annually marks the best of the best in the industry for everything from courses to clubs and club transportation. Out of the four years this awards program has been published, Yamaha has dominated the gas-powered golf car category for three out of four of those.
“To be recognized for the third consecutive year for our Drive2 QuieTech EFI car is an amazing honor and a true testament to the quality and performance of Yamaha golf cars that continue to set the bar for what people clearly want,” said Tom McDonald, President of Yamaha Golf-Car Company. “The first year we won, we were wowed. The second time, we were pleasantly surprised. This being our third year winning truly solidifies the fact that we are setting the industry standard.”
This accomplishment sets the innovative Drive2 QuieTech EFI car even further apart from other gas-powered golf cars. The Drive2 QuieTech car is almost as quiet as an electric car and features the renowned comfort of Yamaha’s industry-first (and only) fully independent, four-wheel suspension on a golf car.
